In order to meet the challenges posed by the incessant cases of insecurity, the Leadership of National Cadet Corps Nigeria embarked on a major reform effort with the company of CONYSSA, led by Ambassador Ade Mario.
We visited AIG Zama Bala Senchi – AIG Community Policing at the Force Headquarters, Abuja to further discuss the critical demographic sector of the population that needs to be adequately involved in the fight against insecurity.
The GCO expressed worries that Nigeria is facing a great challenge of insecurity, terrorism, kidnapping, banditry, inter-tribal conflicts and many other insecurity challenges. We, NCCN therefore aimed at strengthening and providing adequate supports to the Police Force and other Security agencies to revive and reinforce moral values and virtue ethics in the Country.
The growing dissatisfaction, discomfort and
distress within the larger society coupled with the high unemployment rate, economic crisis, disunity, pauperization of the masses and consequently, armed conflicts, terrorism, ethno- religious holocausts, kidnapping, assassination and other violent crimes have become the leitmotif of Nigerian social relations.
The GCO further advised Officers and men of National Cadet Corps Nigeria to exercise patience and restrain, especially in the areas of making derogatory and uncomplimentary and misleading comments over the situation of the Organization.
We therefore urge all State Commanders to evince and uphold moral values and virtues in all their conduct to lead by example and to avoid thirst for power and deceptive person(s) who unnecessarily by their conducts and misleading information incite violence in their followers.
Prepare for a Leadership Rebirth as nemesis will catch up with whoever causes disunity in the organization.
Stay Safe, Stay Strong and get prepared...
